What to Expect
Visiting a new place can be intimidating for some. We want everyone to feel comfortable and welcome when they come through our doors, so here are some FAQs.
-
We usually start with 20-30 minutes of singing, followed by a message from the pastor.
Our worship band is live and plays a mix of contemporary music and hymns. Instruments played on any given Sunday can include acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, drums, violin, and more.
We also spend a little time greeting each other during the service. Communion is served the first Sunday of each month. If either of these activities make you feel uncomfortable, please feel free to remain in your seat, there is no pressure to participate.
We invite you to view a recent service to get a feel for the way we worship on Sunday mornings.

Your children are important to us, we have created fun and safe environments for them to learn about God and the Bible in age-appropriate ways.
Nursery and preschool rooms are in the main building for young children aged 0-3 and 3-5, respectively. When you enter the front doors of the building, you will see that the hallway to the right is brightly decorated to draw little ones in and get them excited for the fun that awaits. Each room is clearly marked, children are signed in and dropped off at the door. A pager system is in place so that adults can be discreetly paged if they are needed.
Children in kindergarten through sixth grade join their families for the first portion of the service. Before the sermon starts, they will be invited to join their teacher in the lobby to go to our adjacent KidsTown building for a lesson and activities created just for them. Adults are welcome to let them go or walk over with them, whatever is most comfortable for the family. Your children can be picked up at KidsTown after service.
Students in seventh through twelfth grade join their families for the entire service and are invited to hang out afterward for lunch, games, and a lesson. Lunch is provided and all are welcome.
**All staff and volunteers that work with minors have been background checked to ensure a safe environment.

Please wear whatever makes you feel the most comfortable. There is no dress code or expectation – whether it’s your favorite jeans or your “Sunday best,” please come in what makes you feel like you.

You are under no obligation to make a donation. Should you wish to do so, donation boxes are located near the doors as you exit, or you can give online.
